Are you an operational supervisor at a contractor or company with the VCA certificate? Then you must have the VCA (Safety for Operational Leaders VCA) diploma. With this, you demonstrate that you work safely and take into account the environment and health of you, and the employees you supervise. The VCA is officially recognized by SSVV.

The VCA(also known as VCA 2 or the official abbreviation VCA) consists of 70 questions. You have a maximum of 75 minutes to take the exam. At the bottom of this page you can see which topics are covered in the exam. You have passed if you have obtained at least 64.5% of the maximum 7,000 points.

You will see immediately after the exam whether you have passed. You can see the official results within a few days at vca There you will also download the pass for your phone. You will then receive the VCA and VOL VCA diploma. The diplomas obtained are valid for 10 years and are required to comply with the VCA Safety Checklist. The diploma is officially recognized by the SSVV.

Registering for the VCA

VCA are administered at 60 locations, both during office hours and in the evenings. PBNA provides start-up guarantee; so scheduled exams always go ahead. You can register up to 7 hours before the exam. That is, if there are still seats available. After signing up you will receive a confirmation with all the details.

You can score a maximum of 100 points for each question. You have passed the exam when you have obtained a total of at least 4,515 points (this is 64.5% of the maximum number of points). A few days after the exam, the official results are posted on vca where you can also download your pass.

The mock exam gives a realistic picture of the VCA. The structure corresponds to the official exams. The feedback consists of the result, looking back at your mistakes and a study advice. Candidates who have used the VCA indicate that they began the real VCA with more confidence as a result.
