Luka diplomas at PBNA

Royal PBNA provides certification of the training program: Air Duct Engineer. This in cooperation with ROVC Technical Training, Dutch Association of Air Duct Manufacturers and Indoor Climate Netherlands.

To be certified by PBNA as an Air Duct Technician with an industry-recognized diploma, you can follow the following routes:

1. Air Duct Technician (Side Entry) (Bootcamp):

• • Target audience: lateral entry students with less than 6 months of experience.
  • Content:
    • First encounter
    • Material Knowledge
    • Tool Knowledge
    • Skills and working safely
  • Supplement: After the boot camp, they take the regular Air Duct Technician course.
  • Closure: Practical assessment, assessed by the instructor.
  • Result: PBNA certification as an air duct technician.

2. Air Duct Mechanic Course.:

• • Target audience: individuals with 6 to 18 months of industry experience.
  • Content:
    • Basic principles and functions of air duct systems
    • Installation and maintenance of air ducts
    • Safety and regulations
    • Techniques for problem solving
  • Closure: Practical assessment, assessed by the instructor.
  • Result: PBNA certification as an air duct technician.

3. Air duct mechanic course (accelerated).:

• • Target audience: individuals with more than 18 months of experience in the industry.
  • Content:
    • Advanced techniques and practices
    • Focus on efficiency and expertise
  • Closure: Practical assessment, assessed by the instructor.
  • Result: PBNA certification as an air duct technician.

All three training options conclude with a practical assessment. With a positive final result, students receive the industry-recognized PBNA Air Duct Mechanic diploma, recognized by the Vakcentrum Indoor Climate Technology Foundation on behalf of the industry associations Luka, Binnenklimaat Nederland and Techniek Nederland.
