Employees in industry who supervise workers performing work in a confined space at a (petro)chemical plant site.
Entry requirements:
The exam candidate is at least 18 years of age
The candidate holds a diploma in: VCA, VCA or VIL-VCU (or established as equivalent)
In addition, the candidate must be proficient in the Dutch language both orally and in writing (at least B1 level).
The training is provided by an SOG-recognized training institute and PBNA administers the exams. So if you want to get your own certificate in manhole guard or outside guard, you can take the exam through the training institute that gives the training.
Examination Manhole Guard (Outside Guard)
The exam tests whether the candidate can properly supervise a confined space and act in an emergency situation.
To obtain a diploma in SOG Manhole Guard, both a theory exam and practical exam must be taken.
