VCA

You can opt for a read-aloud exam for the VCA exam. The read-aloud exam is fine for exam candidates who have difficulty reading. For example, if you do not speak the language, reading is difficult for you, or if you have dyslexia.

How does the VCA go?

Like the regular exam, the exam consists of 40 questions. But you get extra time to answer the questions. You have 75 minutes for the VCA read-aloud exam. You take the read-aloud exam on a computer set up for you at the exam location. You get headphones and the questions are read aloud through the computer. You can have the questions read to you as many times as you like. After the exam, you will see right away if you passed.

NOTE: For the VCA, all questions are read aloud, but some new question types do not include the answers.
