deepEx Technologies leidt mensen op die werken in explosiegevaarlijke omgevingen. Dit is volgens het zogenaamde IECEx 05 trainingsprogramma. Ze werken vanuit de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten en India, en ontvangen cursisten uit de hele regio, waaronder landen als Egypte, Kazachstan en Australië. Voor de examens werken ze samen met PBNA. Eigenaar Diljith Edathil vertelt hoe dat in de praktijk werkt.

Snelheid is essentieel
”One of the reasons is: they work very fast. They publish the results of the exams very quickly, and that is important for our clients. Many of them operate project-based, so they don’t have time to wait two or three months for a certificate. When they hire new people, for instance, they need to get qualified quickly.”
Certificering van wereldklasse
De aanpak van deepEx is erop gericht om tijd en geld te van klanten te besparen. Ze kennen de regelgeving in gevaarlijke gebieden en zijn experts in de selectie, installatie, supervisie, inspectie, audit en training voor industrieën zoals mijnbouw, petrochemie, olie en gas, kunstmest, offshore platformen en metaalverwerkende industrieën. Daar hoort certificering van wereldklasse bij. Het feit dat PBNA koninklijk is, spreekt Diljith daarom enorm aan.

Bijna 800 examens
PBNA verzorgt de IECEx-examens voor alle units van DeepEx. Ook de persoonscertificaten (CoPC).
Bij elkaar zijn dat al bijna 800 examens, die worden afgenomen op de locaties van deepEx. Het IECEx 05 examensysteem is modulair, dus afhankelijk van je functie leg je een of meer examens af. Vaak bepaalt de opdrachtgever of werkgever welke. De startmodule over basisprincipes van veiligheid in explosieve omgevingen legt iedereen sowieso af. PBNA houdt het proces altijd scherp in de gaten.
