MASE and VCA diplomas equivalent

From the ambition shared by the SSVV, the France Chimie and CSM (Belgium) to achieve a joint instrument for health and safety at the European level, they have agreed that MASE and VCA will henceforth be recognized as equivalent. Equivalence recognized of the French MASE diploma (N1/N2) and the VCA Basic and VCA-VOL diplomas!

The following prerequisites apply: BVCA and VOL-VCA diplomas have a validity of 10 years, however for the MASE N1 it is 3 years and for N2 diplomas it is 4 years.

If you have a VCA diploma and are going to work in France, keep in mind that the BVCA must be renewed after 3 years and the VOL-VCA after 4 years by a new VCA exam. This is to adjust the validity of the diplomas to the French system. If you have VOL-VCA and are going to work in France, you also need to master the language.
