To demonstrate that you know how to work safely according to the VCA guidelines, you can get a VCA diploma. At many companies in the Netherlands, having a VCA-diploma is mandatory.

VCA is the abbreviation for Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors. If you work in a high-risk environment, VCA helps you work safely and healthily. VCA is the standard by which you, as a person or company, can demonstrate that you know how to work safely and healthily.
VCA originated in 1994 as an initiative of several companies and is intended as an independent testing system to guarantee safe working practices at companies. Since then, VCA has become the term of choice when it comes to working safely. VCA describes working methods and points of attention in the area of health and safety. You use the VCA for example in construction, electrical engineering, process control or the petrochemical and offshore industry.
About 15,000 companies in the Netherlands are VCA-certified. Passing the VCA exam is therefore definitely of added value. It increases your job opportunities and ensures that you know how to do your job safely!
To get your VCA, you can take an VCA. During the VCA course, you will learn more about working safely and healthily.
There are different types of VCA courses. B-VCA is the basic VCA course for employees. VOL-VCA is for operational managers. Finally, there is also a VIL-VCU course aimed at organizations that supply personnel to VCA-certified companies. Which VCA-training you need depends on your role in the organization.
You can take an VCA from a training provider, or you can take an online course and prepare from home. PBNA is an examination institute. Once you have successfully completed the exam, you will receive a preliminary result immediately. This result will soon be final, usually you will receive the official result within one working day. You can then immediately save your digital VCA pass to your phone and prove that you are in possession of a VCA diploma.
All VCA-certificates are recorded in the VCA-register. Also called the VCA-bank. Through the VCA-register you can look up whether a person or company is VCA-certified. You can also use the VCA register to check how long your certificate is still valid.
