Every technician who works on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment where fluorinated greenhouse gases or controlled substances can be released must hold the personal certificate. This f-gases category 2 personal certificate allows you to work with f-gases, in accordance with the BRL 200, on refrigeration, air-conditioning systems and heat pumps, with a capacity less than 3 kg of f-gases or 6 kg in the case of hermetic equipment (labeled as such).
The F-gases 2 exam consists of a practical and a theoretical part. You can take the theory exam at PBNA at a location and time of your choosing. That way, on the day of the practical exam, you only have to focus on the practical part. The practical exam consists of the following sections Soldering & Assembling and Handling.
With a positive final result on all parts, you will receive the PBNA certificate.
Currently, ROVC Technical Training in Ede, TechTec in Almere, Installatiewerk Noord-Holland in Amsterdam and Installatiewerk Zuid-Oost in Roermond are PBNA-approved exam venues.
