Working with an elevating work platform

Target group:

Employees at industrial companies in the (petro)chemical industry who carry out work in installations or at the workplace using an elevating work platform.

Entry requirements:

• At least 18 years of age (with the exception of pupils aged 16)
• Diploma: B-VCA, VOL-VCA or VIL-VCU (or established as equivalent)

Category 1B: are static boom lifts such as 'telescopic and articulated boom lifts' fitted with outriggers (hydraulically operated), trailer mounted boom lifts, chassis mounted boom lifts and/or outriggered spider boom lifts;

Category 3A: are mobile vertical platforms such as 'self-moving scissor lifts' and 'self-moving single-person vertical lifts'.

Category 3B: are mobile boom lifts such as 'self-propelled telescopic boom lifts' and 'articulated boom lifts';

The training is provided by a SOG approved training institute and PBNA conducts the examinations.
